Making progress but here is another one. View the forum but can't find the answer.

I want to add Xing www.xing.com profile to the social menu. Understand the progress to creating a link but can't make look like the others such as Linkedin. setting-up-the-social-menus . Just cant find the relevant css code to create similar for Xing.

Unfotunately this font family does not have a glyph for Xing, only Fontawesome and Zocial support this glyph.

You can choose to use an extra icon font (this is the best solution in my opinion) or choose to use an image instead.
Let me know which solution you want to use so I can assist you.

copy image icon from xing site and uploaded it to the menu, works fine. Unless you have suggestions re using the plugins or htmls from the xing site.

It will work fine.
If it doesn't display fine on retina screens let me know so I can guide you on how to use icon fonts.

PS. Fonts are rendered nicer in higher ppi screens, that is why I always recommend icon fonts, although their implementation is trickier.
