I'm using latest for 2.5 its more stable then 3 and more compatible with 3rd party plugin I believe. Not 100% sure about that though.

how did you fix the jomsocial overspill of content say like on my site if there is to much content in the social part it over spills on the radiowave template

also have you noticed that if a user posts an image it duplicates itself very annoying
