Hi thanks for looking
Is there a way we can speed up joomla and the radio wave theme as on gtmetrix my page scoring is low and seems to sometime crash the server any help on ways to speed it all up please post here

Yes, by enabling cache.
15 - 30 minutes should be enough for this site.
Also you can use lower quality setting on your images (K2 Setting). Furthermore you can enable gzip page compression (Joomla! setting).
Finally you can use a CDN like cloudflare or you can install Varnish if you have the appropriate sysdamin skills.
I think that caching will be enough though.

Not really.
You can manually move the K2 Content templates but will have to move the styling as well and I 'm pretty sure there will be some conflicts.
You can always try and depending on the conflicts decide if it's worth the time.

You can't with regular css from your site.
You need to ask the developer how to skin their service and where to put these styles.
