menu alias , create date no text from title

menu alias , create date no text from title was created by JOsh
Hello again,

when creating new menus using menu item alias, the menu alias generates a date instead of directly from the text.
Any idea why and what I can do to change it?
Once I type in the text for a menu alias it works fine

Sadly this is default Joomla! behaviour.
You have to manually enter the text.
