Hello Tye,

You need to add them as K2 items.
By default there is a category called Clean Items. You can add a new category and set it up to hide elements like images, dates etc if you removed that category.

Which element do you want to include in your item.
All the elements are present as HTML snippets. If you want to use one in particular let me know so I can isolate it for you.

I would suggest that you keep this page unpublished in case you need any HTML snippets.

You can set your headers as <h3> or <h4> elements to have a similar look & feel to the weblinks.

If you copy the page remember to change its alias.
You do not want your TOS to be thisisdice.com/copy-of-typography/

In components -> K2 -> Items use the filters and search for Typography. Alternatively sort them by category and choose the Clean Items category.

Yo need to create a menu link pointing to that item.
Check to see if your site has a hidden menu, if not create it.
Then create a menu item pointing towards that item and call it Privacy policy.

That is js code which is stripped by your editor. That won't really work. It is better to use the editor's link button and point to your desired link.

Just name it the way you want and don't publish a mod_menu poinitng to it.
Try to paste that code in your editor's code or plain view.

Depeding on the editor you are using its plugin (you can find it in Joomla!'s plugin manager) has option which tags to strip and which to allow. By default the <script> tag is not allowed.
You have to make sure that this tag is allowed and not stripped.

i create the menu item "privacy policy" and set it to unpublished? (this way i get 404 error again)

or i create a menu item called "hidden menu" and and point it to menu item called "privacy policy"(also get 404 error)

does this mean i have to change url of privacy policy

The menu item needs to be published.
To recap

Create a new menu (not menu) if the hidden menu is NOT present.
Create a new menu item and publish it. This menu item should point to the K2 item with the privacy policy.

The hidden menu should be a menu NOT a menu item.
You can place all the elements that you want a clean URL for them but you do not want them on your main menu.
