Can I make the first letter in the menu in Upper-Caps instead of all lower-case as (Hello) instead of (hello)

Please paste this snippet in your custom.css file.
Hint you can use none instead of capitalize and change the menu item's title.

I pasted this into custom.css but my navigation menu still shows all lower case letters, even though the menu itself has the first letter capitalized. I tried using both "capitalize" and "none" for the text-transform. Neither worked for me. Am i overlooking something?
