I have no access to the JW_Disqus component from the control panel. The link is there. The package installed correctly (installer). The component and both plugins are activated. I re-installed the package and same error. Any ideas??

Ops! I really can't, too much sensitive data stored for my clients...  :-[
Let's hope choff's site is easier than mine!  ;D

@choff and chesterfield,
The Disqus component shouldn't be visible -now we have unpublished it cause you don't need and you shouldn't have access to it.
We are checking Disqus to see if this weird behaviour is generic... So your issue is solved.

If you unpublished the component, how do we use the disqus commuting in our articles?

Thanks.

I, too, have this error message (404 - An error has occurred. Component not found) when attempting to access the Admin component (if, indeed, such a thing exists and if it is accessible). I have disabled the plugin marked "Content" and lose Disqus. I have disabled the plugin marked "System" and keep Disqus, but the label on articles changes from "0 Comments" to "Add a Comment."

I have read the article quoted below, as is apparently recommended, but do not see how it relates to the problem discussed in this thread.

I am also at a loss to see where I can "moderate" the discussions.

I have searched, and this is the only post on this topic I found.

This installation of Disqus is a new addition, and is on an upgrade (to Joomla 1.7) area of a Joomla site.

Thank you for any advise you can provide.

Robin
