The plugin is enabled and the Disqus shortname is correct.

not sure if related, but when i inspect element whit chrome i get the following error on the disqus js:

ncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'appendChild' of null embed.js:1

Hi. I see an error "ReferenceError: SmoothScroll is not defined" . Try to disable some other plugins until you find the one causing this.

Well, you were correct, there was a conflicting plugin causing me this error... in my case it was and old version of the plugin starter elite (for adsense ads) disabled it and now disqus works... thanks.
