Hi, I recently had to rebuild a Joomla site from scratch. There were too many issues with the old version to upgrade to version 3 so it was a last resort. We have one article using the disqus comments plugin and I'm trying to restore the connection between the comments and the new version of the article.

The comments work fine on the old copy of the site. I'm guessing since the id's and category parameters have changed in the new version that disqus is not recognizing it. If anyone has any experience with this or solutions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. Since the IDs and the URLs have changed it will not work. If you manage to get exactly the same ID and URL then it will work.

Thank you, that's what I suspected. The original site was so old and poorly developed I'm not sure if I can get the url parameters to match up. We've got a ticket into disqus to see if they can help us.
