I am using Joomla 1.5.6 which is working fine and yesterday I loaded the "plg_jw_disqus-v1.1_j1.5.zip" plugin. All went well; I enabled a Disqus account and all seemed to work ok. The only problem now is that when anyone actually enter a comment they get back a 404 error ie "
404 - Component not found (www.ihomeimprovement.biz/home-decorating/decorating-color-schemes.html&disqus_reply=1944779)".
Having searched all over the internet it would seem that this is a known problem if using SEF (and even the sh404SEF extention).
Having invested a lot of time and effort into making this site google friendly I really don't want to remove either SEF facilties so therefore the Disqus plugin looks like it's for the chop.
Not such a seamless installation as advertised.
I can't find anywhere on the Disqus or Joomla forums that this problem is currently being addressed.
Can anyone please let me know if there may be a fix in the future?
