Hi,

I have installed the DISQUS commenting application but I am unable to get it to work with the MyBlog Component.

It is enabled under the 3rd party plugins on MyBlog but on my blog page the comments option does not appear.

Any ideas?

Do you still have SuperBlogger plugin published in your site? Because I cannot see it...

I can't seem to get this plugin to work with MyBlog either.

@mrhiking, are you sure that you have set right the plugin parameters? Did you create a Disqus account for your site? Take a look at documentation for SuperBlogger so as to be sure that you haven't omitted something.

I'm having the same problem. I've created an account with Disqus and have entered just "myshortname" in the 'Your Disqus subdomain' parameter. I'm using with the current/latest versions of Joomla 1.5 and MyBlog. I've set the category to render the plugin as "MyBlog", and the menu item to render the plugin to the correct Blog link... SEF urls is currently set to "yes" but I have the same problem when they are switched off.

However absolutely nothing related to commenting functionality is appearing on the blog posts. Could someone please suggest where I should be looking to resolve this?

I'm having the same issue, when activating the Disqus plugin, disqus will appear on articles, but not in blog posts. Does anyone have a resolution to this?

I am having the same problems. I guess we have verification that this plugin will not work with the MyBlog Component. Is this correct? Some clarification and verification will allow me to proceed with a different solution.
