I get an error message when I try and access the K2 Media Manager “Unable to connect to backend.
Access denied.”

Have I missed part of the set up? This does not happen in Takai even though they are set up in exactly the same way.

This is in the Template nuModusVersus that came with the quick set up package. Everything else works although I cannot find the Contact Form control panel either.

There are several suggestions posted at: getk2.org/community/New-to-K2-Ask-here-first/185805-K2-Media-Manager---Unable-to-connect-to-back-end regarding the error message you are receiving.

You can also try correcting your files/folders permissions.

As for the contact form panel, do you mean you can navigate to com_contact (Components -> Contacts) ?
