Cant save template changes

I am interested in your templates so I downloaded the numodusversus and have been taking a look. I did a quickstart install of the demo site on Joomla 3.1.1 (which came with the package). I also installed the template update so template version 1.0.2.
Please note I am new to Joomla 3 (I've only previously used 2.5) so forgive me if the solution is obvious.
I can't seem to make any template changes save. I can go into the Template Parameters and change any of the Branding items there e.g. logo or tagline, but when I click "save" I am taken back to the previous page showing the list of templates and none of the changes have been saved. I can make changes in other parts of the site - content and modules - and I've checked permissions. I'm using a superadmin login.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for your assistance.

I have also checked it in the downloaded package with the latest version of the template installed and didn't have this issue.
Does this happen only with the logo and tagline or others, like highlights, for example.
I'm sure you are pressing the Save and not the Save and Close button, right?

No I'm definitely using the Save button and this is happening with any change of any parameter I try to make. It is refusing to save it and no error message is being returned.
I deleted site and reinstalled the site but it didn't help.
Hmmmm?

Check in the templateDetails.xml file that all paths are correct and correspond to the name of the template you have created.

I can't seem to get it to do what I want. Sorry, but I've wasted enough time on this. I thing I'll try and find another template.

addfieldpath="templates/numodusversus/includes/elements/
in your copy they should be
addfieldpath="templates/Your_template_name/includes/elements/
in the templateDetails.xml file of your copy.

I have the same issue . ....
I can't save anything in template option.
This happened when i try to change the logo.
After that, the nu logo disappeared and replaced only with text (my site title) and also change the background color.
In the template options, i could browse to add the new logo or add new options and save the configuration without errors!!!!
But when i go back to check it ....all is blank!!
Joomla fresh installation 3.1.1 quickstart from the nuevvo download section 02/09/2014
I don't understand what i do wrong !

Can you describe which steps you took that resulted to this white page?
Eg. Updated joomla from 3.1 to 3.3 etc..
