I am using the takai template and wanted to change the branding title... I used the sign & as an "and". After this the logo disappeared and cannot be changed. I searched the forum and none of the suggestions worked.There should be no problem with templateDetails.xml
Could you help me?

The & produces HTML error and & should be used instead.
To be honest I have never experienced that behaviour

You can try clearing your cache and/or reinstalling the template or you can directly edit from the DV if you have the required knowledge.

This is how the params are stored. You need to change (do not break the quotes ) the siteTextAsLogo field.

The table is called xxx_template_styles and the row is Takai.

I solved the problem by reinstalling the template. 1. rename the old template directory 2. reinstall template and update...
now it works again.

Make sure you are using the template's latest version.

I just just the takai_demosite_j3x_20131129 on september 9th?
In my case also colors do not save.

You have to update all the extension that need updating after you have installed the quickstart package.
The same applies to the template. You need to install the template's latest version.
