Hello and Happy New Year !

I have been using this template for several years now, and since few months I have experienced issues with all the Font Awesome Icons on my website. I've looked on the internet but didn't find any helpfull post.

I manually managed to force some icons to work, but it works only in specific cases.

I'm no expert however when I "inspect" my webpage, this error shows up :

Which version of the the template are you using?

I think I am using the latest version of the template (1.0.6 says template.css) (weirdly, when I inspect the code it says 1.0.5 and I don’t know why).

I have tried to update the template, the menus/navigation icons were back, however all the font awesome icons were showing either as square or Chinese characters, and the alert message concerning the cdn was still there.

I have made very few tweaks to template.css and custom.css only. But it shouldn’t interfere.

Here is a screenshot of the template parameters and the non-working font awesome characters.

I just did a new clean install of the template, font awesome still not working.

PS : I manage to make it work in the frontend by adding :for each and every icon in the template css... there surely is an easier method.

I have the same problem.

downloadable font: download failed (font-family: "fontawesome" style:normal weight:normal stretch:normal src index:2): bad URI or cross-site access not allowed source: cdn.joomlaworks.org/webfonts/fontawesome/font/fontawesome.ttf?60182405

It seems that yours server not allows download font from other domains.
