I want to use transparent background PNG icons for thumbnails instead of JPG images. However the FPSS automatically converts the thumbnails into JPG's.

How do I got about changing the thumbnail image conversion to PNG instead?

I have changed files so that they are trying to pull PNG files instead of JPG. These are the files I changed:
administrator/components/com_fpss/models/slide.php
administrator/components/com_fpss/models/slides.php

However I can't work out what files to change to make the component output PNG files instead of JPG.

Any help is much appreciated!

What you must do is to fix your png images to the exact slideshow dimensions.
Then when you upload each image in the FPSS component/slide make sure that you have enable  the
Do not resize image option.

Thanks for your reply. However I am referring to the Navigation Thumbnail images (not the slides). My slides are JPG, which is working fine, but I need the thumbnails to be different transparent PNG files. But the FPSS system automatically converts them to JPG files.

Really? Any reason why? I can't see why it wouldn't be possible with a bit of code change....?

Sorry to be a hassle, but is there anything that can be done to export the thumbnails as PNG files instead of JPGs? I don't mind making code changes.
