Our website - nalumber.pro.hepcom.ca - has a front page slide show - and these are the actions that we want to work.

The front page slide show should act in these ways:

Point 1: User is on main page, front page slide show should then start its slide rotation 1 through 5 on a timer

Point 2: User moves mouse onto a slide show tab; that tab is active & slide associated with tab is active - also if user leaves pointer on that tab; that slide is active and the rotation loop should completely stop and remain on that image associated with that tab, that the users mouse is on.

Point 3: User moves pointer to another slide show tab; see Point 2      “else”    see Point 4.

Point 4: User then moves pointer off and away from the slide show; the slide show  should then continue to rotate and loop through the images see Point 1

When we added the automatic rotation it continued to rotate when we would click on a tab - for example - "featured special" - the slideshow would continue to rotate. What can we do to stop it from rotating when a user stays static on one tab like "featured special".

If there is someone out there that has a solution for this that would be great.  I'm in urgent need of assistance and am willing to pay for support through elance.

The only thing you could is using this option:
Website visitors can switch slides manually on... mouse click or mouse over.
