I've downloaded the update of FrontPage Slidehow.
I've just a problem with the links to articles from the slideshow (error 404).
I've searched in the forum and I've found this post : forum.joomlaworks.net/frontpage-slideshow-v1-v2-(for-joomla!)/fpss-sef-url's-not-the-same-as-joomla-sef-url's/msg16332/?topicseen#msg16332
I've modified the .htaccess by replacing this line :
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^(/eurospace/component/option,com) [NC,OR]
The URL is : www.presencenet.be/eurospace
Best regards.

It seems to be a problem with your setup when SEF urls are enabled. Try the following:
1. Update Joomla! to it's latest stable version (1.5.25)
2. Make sure that you are using the default htaccess file that comes with Joomla!

I've upgraded my Joomla version (=> 1.5.15) and put the original .htaccess file
But still the 404 problem when I click on the slideshow ...
I've to say the slideshow is working when I'm on the 'home' page (accueil in french).
But when I'm on another page, I have the 404 error ...
Hope you can help me.
Best regards.

Thanks for taking time !
But unfortunately, the links are not working, I've tried on another computer with another OS and same thing : 404 error ! except if I click first on the 'accueil' (firt item on the main horizontal menu); in that only case, the links are working ...
As lefteris said, it's well a problem with SEF; if I disable it, the links are working !
Best regards.

I've also created a new slide and linked to an article and it works fine !
But what do I have to do to link to article I've removed ??? I want this one and not another one ...
Do I have to delete this article and recreate a new one ?
Best regards.
Dominique,
PS : thanks for your advice about JoomFish!, i had this module installed before Frontpage Slideshow.

What do you mean by a "valid' article ???
What's the difference between a valid and no valid article ??
The behaviour of this Frontpage SlideShow is very strange on my pages ... If I click on some items from the main menu or from the vertical menu, sometimes the links from the slideshow are working and from other items, I have a 404 error .
Since a few weks, I have this problem and I would like to have this problem solved.

Best regards and happy new year for all the team.

Maybe I've removed some articles ... I don't remermber but it's possible.
What's the best solution now ? Do I have to delete those no valid articles, categories and section and recreate new ones ?
Could you please advise ?
Best regards.

The articles exist, the categories also exist ...
When I'm on the homepage www.presencenet.be/eurospace , the first slide is called 'Promotions'; and the URL is :
www.presencenet.be/eurospace/fr/component/content/article/31-promotions/115-promotions2.html
and this URL is not working (error 404)
But when I choose this first slide from another menu element (e.g. Seniors), the URL is :
www.presencenet.be/eurospace/fr/seniors/115-promotions2.html and now, it's working !
I've tried with adding a new slide with article and category valid and I've exactly the same problem - working or not working depending where I com from in the menu!!!!
I'm lost ... could you please help me ?
Thanks in advance.

Delete the first slide and recreate it from the beginning...
