Solved-Error when trying to install FrontpageSlideshow-v3.0.5_j1.5-1.7 on 1.5.21 was created by Paul Csogi

Just downloaded Frontpage Slideshow v3, but when I try to install it I get:

* Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.
* Path does not have a valid package

Any suggestions?

I've tried to install from tmp dir also with no luck.

Did you unzip the package in order to select the appropirate version for your cms?

Thanks Katia,

Yes, I did unzip but just recently found out that it is an issue with having ftp turned on within the admin section of Joomla.

This is a non issue now. I'll be closing it out.

I tried to close out the post but it seems it's still active.
