Hi Guys

I am stumped with this one, in IE 8 and 9 the module does not display images and it appears to be adding/modifying some styles to the page (div container repeated, underlining links in the main menu, etc...). All of the other posts with the same topic do not seem to work for me, disabling JQuery does not resolve the issue, disabling other modules does not work, removing manual calls to JQuery libraries in my template does not make a difference.....

Weird thing is it works fine in IE7.......

Can you please let me know your thoughts on how to resolve this issue.

Your FPSS version is too old. Please upgrade to 3.0.5 asap.

Thanks Kaitia, I have tried this and now I cant even add new slides....The component will not accept the image when I upload it, I receive an error saying that it is not an image file, when it certainly is.

The original issue with IE is still there (although at least I can see some images now) as well and with 3.05 the images will not load in any browser. will revert to 2.8 as at least this works in some browsers.

Can you suggest anything else to try?

PS: I tried disabling JQuery in 3.0.5 and also tried all of the availlable libraries from within the module with the same result

What PHP version do you use?

The site is running PHP 5.1.6

But I still see FPSS 2.8 version.

i think ur FPSS version is too old.

Yes I had to revert back to 2.8 as the latest version will not run at all on the site (see my previous post in this same thread), there is obviously a conflict somewhere that only relates to ie 8 or 9.

Any ideas on where to look for the conflict or suggestions on how to get ver3.0.5 Working?

NB: this site is live, hence reverting back when it didn't work at all.

Found the issue, I had not close an <a> tag properly on the page and this threw out the design and FPSS in IE8 and 9.
