installed FPSS on my Joomla 1.7 site - the demo slides displayed properly, but when I tried to create my own they didn't show up. Module & category settings all looked right; couldn't see any difference in parameters between demo slides and my slides.

Tried the following:

1. Created a new slide in the Demo category --> new slide didn't display
2. Edited a demo slide to link to one of my articles --> demo slide stopped displaying
3. Changed the image in a demo slide to one on my server --> demo slide stopped displaying
4. Fixed all permissions in site root directory --> didn't help
5. Cleared Joomla cache numerous times --> didn't help

After doing all that, the slideshow broke completely so I uninstalled/reinstalled the package.

no, it's back to how it was before. The demo works, but my slides don't appear.

Did you remove FPSS from your page?

it works now - I moved it to the front page instead. www.pvpa.org

maybe the publish dates were wrong before? not sure what fixed it.
