How to associate FPSS Module with JCE vs. MCE Editor was created by Adverscan Mobile Media, LLC
For some reason, even though the default editor for my login/user is JCE, when I edit slide content the editor that is presented is MCE, not JCE. I also notice that any styles that I use (even basic ones like H1) do not get applied when the slide's text area is displayed. I am brand new this module so forgive the dumb questions, but is there a way to associate my default editor (JCE) with the mobile? I've look everywhere for a config setting that would make sense for this issue.

Check your settings in JCE Editor in Global configuration in order to make sure that it set as the Global editor everywhere in your site.
In addition check that the user you want has preselected JCE Editor in his settings too.

"Default WYSIWYG Editor" is set to "Editor - JCE" and the user's editor selection is also JCE as well.

Pm access to your super admin please so as to check your settings. If you had set JCE as Global Editor and JCE for user editor too then you shouldn't have problem...

I have exactly the same problem, I have disabled TinyMCE so I get the warning message. If I enable it I get TinyMCE instead of JCE.
"Default WYSIWYG Editor" set to "Editor - JCE" and the user's editor selection is also JCE as well.
I have also checked in Components > JCE > Profiles > *selected profile* > Set Up > Assignment that I have 'All Components' selected too, its set to show in the front end & back end and to all user groups except public & registered.

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. Was there a solution to this?

Since Frontpage Slideshow uses a lot of AJAX functionality, all third-party editors caused issues, because they are "invoked" differently from each other.
So we took a convention: we would only support the default editor, which is TinyMCE. Either way, if you link to existing content you won't use the editor or if you add custom content, it's so little you don't really need the benefits of a better editor. So we load TinyMCE by default.
Now, since JCE is basically an improved version of TinyMCE, we will try to add support for JCE only in the upcoming release we plan the next few days. If for some reason this causes issues, we will document that specifically in the release announcement.
