Multiple Instances Slideshow Pro 3.2.0 was created by Jennifer Cumming
I have Frontpage Slideshow 3.2.0 is it possible to get more than one instance going in my website.  I have read how it wasn't possible in earlier versions but thought the latest update might make it possible.  If so please let me know how to do it.  I have limited programming knowledge.  Is there another product that will allow it?

Not sure what your really asking here. But it is possible to run multiple slideshows on the same page, different slideshows on different pages as well.

To run more than one slideshow on the same page you have to use a module for at least one of them. You can only run one slideshow per page as a content item.

I suggest you copy the fpss module for each slideshow you want on a page, assign it to your slideshows. Then assign them to something like position-12/Banner3 (just above content your template may use different module position labels) and then use the module menu assignment to show them on the pages that you want.

If you want you can also use an embedding plugin that will embed code/content/modules into a content item and create an article that consists of just embed codes for each slideshow you want on that page.
Something like Modules anywhere is good for this.

In fact I use this method to insert slideshows into category descriptions as well.
Saves me the messy module assigning.
Only thing I wish fpss did was to take the pictures from the content to build slides automatically!

Thanks, that sorted it out.  I put in a new module and now it all works.  One issue is I had a Simple Image Gallery Pro running on the same page and the two seem to conflict.  If I have Simple Image Pro gallery loaded using {gallery}outdoorLearning:120:70:3:1{/gallery} the Frontpage Slideshow doesn't load.  The thumbnails all come up put the slidshow just tries to load but nothing comes up.

If I take the Simple Image Gallery Pro Away the Frontpage Slideshow works fine.  Any suggestions to remove this conflict.

Select a different option
in jquery library handling parameter at FPSS module....
However, SIG PRO shouldn't conflict with FPSS. Probably something else causes the problem.
