I have Joomla ver 2.5.4
I have FrontPage Slideshow ver 3.2.0

The problem I have is this. I have slides using the movies template. The category (named: milton events) settings where those slides are located is set to open in same window. Even the module settings is set to open in same window.

The specific slide inside category (milton events) is set by itself to open in new window.

When I click the read more button, title text, or large photo (for that slide)  the settings work just fine. However, the problem is when I click on the right hand side image (thumbnail) associated with the slide it opens in same window regardless of my settings for target window for the slide, categorie, or module settings.

I am not an expert but I think this is a bug. Please advise.

I tried the FSD theme and it works on a PC or MAC in safari, firefox, & chrome except when you click on the thumbnail it does not do anything like there is no link associated with thumbnails. However it works on the larger photo (right) or text link (left). However on the iphone or ipad the thumbnail loads in the same browser window (instead of new window) doing the same thing the movie theme did.

As a matter of fact, ALL thumbnail clicks on any theme that supports thumbnails open in same window regardless of the slide settings, category settings, or module settings to open link in a new window.

I am convinced now its a bug in frontpage slideshow.

I already did. Btw it's the Milton property tax slide.

Ok the developers ackowledge that clicking on thumbnails does not recognize target window or same window link. However they are working on a fix for next release.

Other than that this is awsome. There might be other free or even paid modules like this, however, none of them come close to frontpage slideshow. I mean the flexibility and campaighn scheduleing, etc.... I hope the developer is prompt in this bug fix.
