I am upgrading a Joomla site from 1.5 to 2.5 and our client requested the slideshow be identical to his old one. However, the way the the newer version acts is different from the older installed version of the slideshow.

More specifically I we are using the "movie" layout and I would like the "active tab" to not slide but "snap" to the new slides tab. and I would like the text to cross fade rather than "slide in". The JavaScript included with your component is obsficated and not easy to follow.

The other question I have is about the content box removing HTML tags. The old version didn't do this but the new one does? Any way around it.  I would like to insert line breaks.

Any help you could provide would be more than helpful.

Sorry but this is how it works...
If you want to use html tags in your intro text you should set your introtext word limit at FPSS module parameters to 0 cause otherwise all the tags are stripped out.

Not to mention, that this is how it used to work in the past too.
