First, Thanks so much for this excellent component.

I was wondering if this is possible. Say you have five slide spots, and in one of those spots you have an event that changes depending on what day it is. I'd like one of the slide spots to alternate based upon the day the website visitor loads the page.
For example:
Monday - Karoke
Tuesday - Slow Jam
Wednesday - DJ
Thursday - R&B
Friday - Something Else
Saturday - Live Music

And the rest of the slides would be static (slide 2=Menu) (Slide 3=Blog) (Slide4=Etc)...

Is this something that's possible? Or do you know of a plugin that would load the different slideshow categories based on the date/time?  Any ideas?

Thank you for your reply, Katia. I have seen that. I'm talking about making a slide a recurring slide.  It is true that using the advanced area, I could schedule a slide to appear on one Thursday and stop publishing that same day. That would be fine if I went in every week and redid 7 slides for each day. Unless, is there a way to list multiple dates? I didn't see that. If there is tell me how, please.

It be so much easier if I could have a "Thursday slide" publish every Thursday for x number of weeks. So far, the only solution I've found is the Metamod component which lets you schedule modules, so then I'd have to have seven categories based on the week and create seven different slide modules. The learning curve seems high on Metamod though so I'm still iffy on whether this is a real solution for me.

I am afraid that FPSS has no such a feature.
