I have posted the following on freelancer and am posting here as customisation of FPSS is one of my preferred options.

1. Project deliverable requires all functionality and layout of slider module shown on this page (mindyweiss.com) be replicated. In particular;
a. sequential highlights of text that matches image below the image box
b. click on text for link to a URL.

2. As an add on option you can include in your bid any extra cost to also create a slider that matches the functionality and layout of the slider shown at this page (mindyweiss.com/portfolio-category/parties/). i.e.
a. an image carousel
b. descriptive text below image
c. click on text for link to a URL

2. Bidders should state what existing joomla module or component they will be using for the project.

3. The project should us overrides for css and/or html/php not hacks of any core code functionality.

4. Preference will be given to those who nominate the following as the basis of the project
a. Front Page Slideshow (by Joomlaworks) or
b. RokGallery (by Rockettheme)

the reason for this is that these are components that also enables Joomla menu types, and I already use them in some of my existing sites and I have paid for the commercial versions of these (I can let you have access to a dev site with these components installed).

5. Although not preferred I am also comfortable with DJ Image slider (I have used it and am comfortable with its functionality and know how to use it).

6. Least preferred option but one that I would consider is another Joomla/Slider module.

As mentioned in the main project post expect other work to flow from this as I am building up my virtual team of developers for Joomla to compliment the skills of our artists in web site design.
