Hi,

After upgrading to K2 2.5.7 and Frontpage Slideshow 3.2.0 (on my live site) the slides no longer show. I get a blank white area where the slide should be and a cursor that constantly says "uploading...".

The thumbnails show fine, however now when I click the thumbnail I get redirected to the K2 item instead of changing the slide.

This all worked perfectly with K2 2.5.6 and Frontpage Slideshow 3.1.0.

On my development computer everything works perfectly.

Any help would be appreciated.

I re-installed and checked the menu assignments. There is nothing wrong with the menu assignments. I am surprised that you did not even check this out on my website. Frontpage Slideshow does not work. Is there anyone else from your organization that can look into this problem. I would like to use Frontpage Slideshow. Hopefully we can fix this bug.

The slideshow seems to load forever only in homepage. In all the other pages works fine.
So as you can see via Firebug you have conflict with the minik2 module from your template.

Thanks for that. I disabled miniK2 on the frontpage and now Frontpage Slideshow works correctly.

I also tried to uninstall the compoment and install  itfrom the scratch with the demo content but the problem remains. Any ideas?

Hi Kita,

My name is Rinio,. Joomla 2.5(updated) Frontpage slide show(last version) I do have a problem with frondpage slide show. After making some slides(everything works fine), unexpectedness I loose control over the slides. Changes are not being projected anymore. new slides either do not project anymore. uninstall and install frontpage slide again, wil bring the original new back, but stil will not accept new slides or changes. I keep having this problem all the time and this make it impossible for me to use it. Can somebody please help me? Do anyone have this issue to? I cannot find any answer/question about this on the internet. Sounds like the same issue here, but i cannot see the solution given, Please help with an solution.....
