FPSS Module Isn't Starting Slideshow

Hello,

I've got two instances of Joomla running pretty much identical sets of extensions, yet on one instance, FrontPage SlideShow seems to work fine, and on another, the slideshow will not start or even allow me to manually change slides. I've been trying my best to make sure everything is the same between the two, but I'm not having any luck. I was able to change a single slide by disabling auto-start, and using the component view version of FPSS rather than the module, but the way it's supposed to be used on these sites is as a module that auto-starts.

Functioning FPSS Module: berlindailysun.com

Broken FPSS Module: northconwayplaces.com

Any guidance would be appreciated, this has been driving me nuts for hours now.

Did you try changing the jquery library handling option in FPSS module parameters?

I tried each of the options individually, all options give the same result aside from loading the 1.7 local copy and not loading jQuery at all, in which case it just shows the loading animation. I don't know if it's any help to you, but when it is just stuck on the first image, I periodically get javascript errors (I'm assuming at the interval it would be loading the next frame):

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'start' of undefined

This points to line 122 of engine.js, which is:

$this.effects1[$this.actual].start('opacity', 0);

I don't know if there's some other factor that has to be present on the page to populate that effects1 array, but it's empty when I try to output the contents of it.

I left the jquery library handling option on "Load v1.7.x (remote copy)", as that is what it's set to on the site that's functioning properly.

Thank you for getting back to me!  :)

This is a javasript conflict. So disable other extensions you use, make sure that the slideshow works fine and start enabling them one by one in order to find which one caused the problem.
