You can use HTML and CSS template overrides inside your Joomla! template and create the design you want.

In my very early version of FPS you set the width of the slideshow in pixels in the component configuration. This is incompatible with responsive design, which requires a fluid width.

You can only override it with by giving max-width in FPSS container div:

fpss-container {
max-width: 1000px;
width: 100%; }
.fpss-container .slides img {
max-width: 100%;
height: auto; }

Sadly didn't work. :( The image resizes but not the container.

Sorry, had a silver moment there. If I use media queries that should override the default settings.

Edit: Sadly it doesn't. :(

has anyone been able to make FPS responsive?

I'm also interested to achieve this and before starting to play around with css and media queries, i want to know if some one has worked it out?

Noticed a new version was just released, but not responsive.

Can you indicate when the responsive issue will be resolved?

Client has asked me to do this myself, so I will share the resultant override if successful, here.

Or if you already have an Alpha, happy to trial in a production site for you? www.toowoombarc.qld.gov.au

Looking for responsive design template too. Surprised that nothing has been released yet for this. Thinking about having to get one of the other new slideshow components that do provide that functionality. Any updates on when one will be released?
