opening slide article link in modal box was created by Jon Dalrymple
Hi, can anyone help please?

I'm trying to get my slide links to open articles in a modal box (using 'Modalizer').

I did manage to get the slide links to open in a modal box by creating a custom version of the JJ-Obs template in my joomla template html folder and inserting a target="_blank" command at the end of line 21 in the default.php code. This worked I think because I have Modalizer set up to convert links with a target of '_blank' to a modal box.

However, instead of just opening the linked article, it opens with the whole site and article inside the modal box. How can I get it to just show the article on its own?

Other links on the site work okay and open up in the modal box just fine. On the other links, I just use the syntax {modal} link text {/modal} to achieve this. I can't seem to find the correct place within fpss to make this work on sildes.

Can you help? Thanks

Jo.

If you add "&tmpl=component" to the end of your link it will strip everything but the content.
You might have to add inline styling in your article's content though as any other css probably won't be considered.
Hope that works
