Hi there,

I am having a problem with the Browse Server button in the slide creation section of Admin.

I have a Jquery error, and the button is not working. The error details are as follows:

Message: Unexpected call to method or property access.
Line: 17
Char: 29094
Code: 0
URI: mydomain.org.uk/administrator/components/com_fpss/js/jquery.min.js

This is only occuring in Internet Explorer, it seems to work fine in Firefox & Chrome. I am using Joomla 2.5.4 and FPSS 3.2.0.

Can anybody help with this?

Hi, I have done this, and also I have deactivated all the other 3rd party plugins etc, and doublechecked all of the permissions in the Images and Media folders, Cache etc, but I still have the same problem.

I have the same problem on a test site, I could give you a login if required.

I should note, this problem does not happen when creating a new slide, it only happens when modifying a slide that already exists. Similarly, you cannot replace the main image by uplaoding a new one either as the upload process does not take place. This works fine in Firefox & Chrome though.

So the problem occurs only in IE?
Please install Admin Tools from www.akeebabackup.com/ in order to fix your permissions as they should be and then reinstall the extension.

Right permissions on all joomla sites:
755 for folders
644 for files

Hi Katia,

I have done as you requested, installed the Admin Tools, fixed the permissions, and reinstalled Frontpage Slideshow, but the problem persists.
