Multiple Slideshows was created by Stan Orchard
I have read several posts on this but I'm still confused. The product page says:

"Multiple slideshows in your Joomla! website, even on the same page (thanks to new slideshow engine) - so you can have a slideshow fetched in the component region and an other in a module or in combinations you define."

I use this to put a slideshow in an article:

{loadposition fp-slideshow}

Do I need to duplicate the fpss module and give each a new name in order to place different slideshows on different pages? Thanks for any help.

I did some experimenting and find that simply duplicating the module and giving it another name, then use {loadposition somenamehere} works fine. But is this the best way? Will this cause problems down the road of which I'm not aware? I still don't see how to do what it says in the product description:  "Multiple slideshows in your Joomla! website, even on the same page (thanks to new slideshow engine) - so you can have a slideshow fetched in the component region and an other in a module or in combinations you define." Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks.

Duplicating FPSS module is the way one can have multiple slideshow in its site.
So, don't worry this is how it should be set.
