Hi everyone,

I'm having some issues downloading the JoomlaWorks AllVideos file for version 1.5.

It is opening in WinZip, which would be fine except it is not giving me a .exe file, which means I am unable to set up the plugin.

Does anybody have any ideas or solutions?

I just want to post a video to my organisation's blog, and it keeps prompting me to install JoomlaWorks AllVideos.

Exe is for Windows desktop apps.
In Joomla! you upload the zip file using the extensions manager. If you do not have the credentials to install extension you should notify the administrator of the site.

Let me rephrase my post ... Has anyone else had my problem or have any suggestions as to what I can try? I am using a MAC and don't get a zip file download or any file that the Extension Manager will recognize (Unknown Archive Type).
I am a new to all this, sorry and thanks for any advice.

There is no way you don't get a zip file. The download link will download the zip file to your computer. Then you can upload it in the extensions manager.

In my Downloads folder, there is a plg_jw_allvideos_v4 folder. In it are 2 .xml files, the LICENSE, a plugin folder and README. The plugin folder has a jw_allvideos folders (includes and tmpl folders), php file, xml file, and media and language folders. I don't see a zip file.

This is where I went to get the download www.joomlaworks.net/extensions/free/allvideos

Which browser are you using ? It should ask you if you want to open the file or download it when you click on www.joomlaworks.net/downloads/?f=plg_jw_allvideos-v4.6.1_j1.5-3.x.zip . You need to select to download the file. Then a zip file will be created on your downloads folder. You just need to upload that file in the Joomla! extensions manager.
