To remove index.php K2 was created by Marcos Bras
Good morning gentlemen.
I lost the few strands of hair I still had.
I can not remove the "index.php" from my URL's.
I use K2 for a news site.
I can remove the "index.php" from the root of joomla (and the index of the main page), however, even so, the index.php insists on "appearing in the URL's of the items and categories of the page
The problem is that I have about 400 articles published in about 30 categories.
I was putting aside this question, but now, I have problems with the search engines (Google, Bing .. etc).
You, kindly, have the solution to this question (remove the "index.php" from the K2 categories and articles).
Thank you in advance for your special attention.

Good afternoon, dear sir.
Thanks for the reply.
I have the "friendly" URL enabled.
SEF is enabled.
I make use of the presentation of the Category / Items (so far it's all right).
If I understood the link article, the Categories / Items originally created with the index.php exposition, even after the change I made (URLs friendly and SEF), will continue to be presented with the index.php?
Is there no way to change this (even for documents created before this change)?
Thank you in advance.

(in time).
This is the site in question (www.maringaeduca.com).
See that in the root (maringaeduca.com) the index.php is no longer presented, however, when we go through the published articles (any one) the index.php is still there.
I'm struggling to improve my position on search engines, although this site currently registers about 42 thousand views per month. We do SEO and good practices, but the URLs I have are uneconomical for search engines.
Right now, and again, grateful.

(at time 2)
When I enable "mod_rewrite" in Joomla's "index.php", I can not access the articles and categories, therefore, they apparently depend on the suffix "index.php".
Note that, When I enable the "mod_rewrite", the less "call" articles without the "index.php", but are not displayed.
This way, I need to be in mod_rewrite disabled to browse the articles and categories.
The latest sites for sites in the site ... yet, so far I have not found a solution to the issue.
Thank you, if the Lord, have known a solution to the "problem" kindly guide me.
Thank you in advance!

Hello Marco,
Unfortunately these are core issues which are not related to K2. You need to address these issues to Joomla!'s forums.
