Umzug auf neue Homepage was created by Andreas Rücker
Hallo zusammen,
danke
Andy

There is an "import" button in the K2 Items list (in the backend / top-right) which you can use to import your Joomla articles as K2 items.
If you don't see the import button, it may have been disabled in the K2 Settings. In that case, edit the component's settings and in the "Administrator" tab choose to enable the import button.

Articles & categories are migrated as data into K2.
However the configuration is different (better) in K2, so e.g. the menu items, modules etc. will need to be re-created either way with the K2 equivalents.

Hello,
I have the newest Varainte from K2 on the old homepage and the articles are made directly in K2.
I would like to take over the old data and EEntries and configuration from K2 and transfer them to the new homepage.
Is there a kind of export function? or another possibility?
both versions are identical but I don't want to copy and paste every single post.
Thanks a lot
Andy

First install K2 in the new site.
Then you need to export the K2 database tables using phpMyAdmin or a similar tool and then import them to the new site (after deleting the existing empty tables).
Finally you need to move everything in /media/k2/* into the new site, at the same path of course.
