It has been a while since I visited K2 and I see that there's a new release and a new site. I downloaded and installed the latest and everything went fine except I see no dashboard/quick icons. When I select K2 from the component drop down in the backend, shouldn't I go to the dashboard

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi and welcome back.

K2 V2.5 has no dashboard any more, so you wont find it.
Access k2 via the main menu only.

However, there is still K2 quickicons available in module manager, make sure you set to administrator when looking for it.

You can publish this to ICON or CPANEL position, so that it is displayed if you go to the control panel.
