Can I get email notifications with the new comments? The moderation would be much easier.

I am using the latest version of K2 on Joomla 1.7. Multinotify doesn't seem to be compatible with Joomla 1.7
There is the option to enter an email in Parameters/Comments/Comment reports recipient in K2
However I do not receive these notifications. I do receive Joomla system emails without any problem.
What could that be?

Hi,
this parameter is used to send an email when a user wants to report a comment to a moderator of the website.
We're working on the Multi Notify upgrade to 1.7 that will be available in the coming days...

Hello,
please could you give me a short explanation about the content of the mail which will be send to the admin?
I would like to get a notification with the complete content of the comment by email. That means, not only a notificatin like "There is a new comment on your website".
Would be fine if you could provide such a kind of feature!! :)
Thanks for response

Hi,
I use a workaround. If you take the feed of the comments and then burn it to feedburner, you can embed an email notification module in the administrator front end, which will send you a mail when a new article is added.
I appreciate all the work people put in these commercial plugins, but sometimes, they are a bit redundant.
Also, DISQUS would be another workaround, but that would mean switching to a new comment system alltogether.
