Social Icons missing after upgrade to K2 2.5 was created by Moraelin
My Social Icons have vanished.
They were there prior to the upgrade though. Any suggestions anyone?
I have also found a CSS file in my K2/css folder called css-117a756e3d7ca277e135d9f6ddc1917f.php
It wasn't there before. Do I need it??

Hi Ray,
Social sharing icons are now replaced with Twitter, Facebook and Google+ . See demo.getk2.org

These new icons don't appear either. Could someone possibly direct me to a tutorial or solution?
I have all the Social Sharing options enabled in the category parameters.
Thanks.

We haven't deleted the old icons.
The problem is your template. It compresses CSS files and screws internal image paths (so the browser cannot locate the image files). Disable any compression in your template and you'll see things work again.
The template wiz kids did it again...

There is no compression on the template.
Is there a way to change the image paths?

I am also having some issues with this but with a slight difference and that is that the site is completely new. Newest joomla and newest K2. Under the "Item View Options" under the "Social Sharing" section I have Twitter, Facebook and Google+ all set to show but on my test post within this category nothing shows. How do I get the images to show?
Do I have to add my info for each of those accounts? Should they auto show? Where should we look for compression settings? I do not think my template compresses anything.
Also does the "Social Settings" under the K2 "Parameters" tab have anything to do with these social icons?

I do have a similar problem.
I really prefered the old way the facebook-like-button worked in k2. I was able to share my content to a special group rather than directly on my profile.
Now, when I press the like-button, the content is auto-shared directly in my profile.
I tried to find a solution to this to revert back to the old way but no way.
Any ideas?
