Hi!
I have made a clean install of j1.5.24 and K2 v2.5.0 (testing IE8)
When I try to create a menu item "Latest items from (one or more) users or categories", I am not able to add Users or Categories, because the browser did not open the popup window as normal. The same problem is with some K2 modules.
I think that there is a problem with mootools script, because the debug returns an error "Object doesn't support this property or method".
In Firefox everithing is OK.
Please tell me what to do.
I tryed to switch on and of jquery but no change.

I found whitch files lead to errors in my browser - admin.../com_k2/elements/userslatest.php and categorieslatest.php
When I commented everithing in them - the panels works fine.
It seams that this problem apears only in IE.
Any one help

It seams that in K2 v2.5.1 the problem with J1.5.x and IE remains.
For the users who have same problem I suggest to look and implement the code for these filese from v2.4.1 in v2.5.x.
It works for me!

1) I disabled K2 to load its jquery grom K2 preferences.
2) I have installed jqueryeasy from joomla extensions site
3) I have enabled the plugin to load jquery and jqueryui in both - frontend and backend
4) I have enabled mootools upgrade plugin and reorderd the system plugin (mootool first and jquery second)
5) I have opened three files from administrator/components/com_k2/elements -> userslatere.php, items.php and categorieslatest.php
- we comment lines from 45 up to 52 and replace class with 'class' in lines 80 and 82
Doing this we hawe working menu manager > K2 > latest items from...., and mod_k2content

I still could not find te reason which is breaking the code in item.php which is needed for mod_k2content )modal and adding items)

Same problem here.
What strange is that it used to work fine. What changed since then ? I installed ACESef. May this be related ? And how to resolve the problem ?
