I need some help on new items publishing. I'm new in K2 and just installed the very latest version. Now I'm testing k2. The problem is on creating a new item in in backend or frontend site, my new item dosn't apear in my frontend. I realy do not know what I'm doing wrong.

Go to your frontpage menu item. Make sure all the categories are selected there.

I took a look and every is correct. I just don't get it :(

The question is to which Category your Menu roots.

If you have a Category Sort in K2 like this :

- Home
--- Information
--- more Information
- News
--- Joomla News
--- K2 News
--- Wordpress News (uahaha ;) )
- Downloads
....

and your Menu links to K2 News you would only see new Item in K2 News.
if menu links to Home you would see all new items in Home, Information and more Information.

Mind my ignorance but when we are talking about menus, you are referring to Joomla menus?
So I should create a Joomla menu and the menu items of all my categories?
How do I make for the latest items to show up int the front page?
Sorry, I know this is a very basic question but I can't find basic documentation.....

You mark the menu link as "Default" in the Joomla! administration.
