Hi, I was wondering if anything has changed in the way files and folders are structured for template overrides. I have followed the guide for folder/file placement but for some reason I can't see an option to choose my override in the back-end category template drop-down. It only shows default for an option.

I am using Joomla! version 1.7.2, k2 2.5, joomlart jat3 framework 2.0 and T3 blank template 1.0.6.

As a side note I have also overriden the k2 css and that does work.

:huh: It's funny how things start working after asking questions. Not sure why unless it was some kind of a caching issue but now it looks like I can choose my custom template from the drop-down.

So I answered my own question and it appears File/Folder placement is the same for custom templates.

If that always be the way things would be solved ... :whistle:

I am using the following setup:
Joomla! v1.7.3
Joomlart JAT3 2.0 Framework
JA T3 Blank for Joomla 1.7.x
k2 v2.5.4

I can pick my sub-template in the category view but it has no effect. I also can not see the specified sub-template's css in firebug.

I would normally see this css in firebug:
/templates/ja_t3_blank/html/com_k2/templates/k2rounded/k2rounded_style.css

I must be missing something.
