Item Edit Form frontend issue was created by James Wiseman
I'm trying to get front end editing up and running by using the Item Edit Form option to create a menu article in my "Member's Area" sub menu.

When I click on the link I get the following error:

Not Found

The requested URL /site/new/index2.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I look at the actual link the menu created it is:

index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&layout=itemform&task=add>

I clicked on the Add New Item in the K2 User module and it works fine, also by rendering my main menu inside the K2 User module the new link I created still does not work but opens in a modal window.

I using the JA Purity II Theme with the T3 Framework.

I have attached an image of the menu Item I created in case it yields any useful info,

Any help appreciated.

Rob

I have same problem. New to K2. I need the facility to allow users to create items. Do you think this will be fixed in the next few days. Otherwise I need to find another component.
Cheers Al

It would be great if you ask in the Thread from Joomlart. Otherwise you can use another Framework with K2.

Thread @joomlart

Can anyone help shed light on this, the devs over at joomlart are being rather silent on the issue.
