[Tutorial] Disable Play Youtube Videos in Cat View was created by troponin
Hey,
I had a request to solve a Problem, which I would like to show here. Maybe somebody had another solution so plz give your Opinion.
The Problem was to disallow starting playing Youtube Videos in Category View.
The Idea is to Use the YVideo as an ItemImage in Category View and if you click on it the Item View should load. In the Item View the Video appears bigger and there the User can play the Video.
The Idea was to set a Layer over the Video, so you cant click on the Video - Problem : The Flash movie in the iframe has a default wmode of windowed which makes it float over the top of anything else, no matter what z-index is assigned to elements in the page
So how did I solved the Problem :
Edit the Youtube Code in All Videos Plugin to allow other divs to float over Youtube Videos:
Open plugins/content/jw_allvideos/jw_allvideos/includes/sources.php
