jupgrade 403 problem was created by jorge mejia gallegos
i have upgraded my 1.5 to 1.7, everything looks fine on the administrator but all menus pointing to k2 categories give a 403, i have figure out that if i just open and save a category if fixes it, but then it shows no items. if i go and open and then save an item it apears in the category. the problem is i have about 600 items.
Is anyone else having this problem? anybody has a solution?
thanks

Ok i figure this one, i don't understand why i seem to be the only person with this problem, but just in case someone else comes here, this is what i did.
After the upgrade all categories and items need to be set to access public. i couldn't figure out how to batch edit all my items so i did it on the database.

UPDATE j17_k2_items SET access = '1' WHERE access = '0'

Thanks, I did have the same issue after updating with jUpgrade and this saved me the hassle of updating over 4000 items and categories manually.

Thanks again.

Big, MASSIVE, GIANORMOUS thanks to you. I was pulling my hair out when I kept getting the errors (deleted the upgraded website, reinstalled jUpgrade and started all over again, and got the same problem), then I was pulling my hair out again when I thought I had to change EVERY K2 category and item to public.

The script for the database is a LIFE SAVER! Thanks again!
