When I import Joomla articles into K2, the article alias's do not transfer correctly. In Joomla, I wrote custom alias's that were different from the titles. But when I import articles to K2, the custom alias's get scrapped and the article title becomes the alias in K2.

This causes a major issue with URL's, and would require several hundred redirects to fix. SH404SEF is installed, but it is not causing the problem. When I open any item in K2, the alias equals the title. In com_content, the alias is different from the title.

Any suggestions?

Nope, I didn't solve this. I ended up archiving most of my old content and importing the most recent content by hand. Very frustrating...
