in add item window pop up , i give one choice - add content. how evev the content do not publish \ or waiting to br published ?

Hi Ariel,

When you add an item via the frontend form, the publish state depends on the user group permissions.

If the user group of the author can't publish item for the selected category, the publish state will be set to 'unpublished' on saving even if you've set it to 'published' in the frontend form.

Having this issue in 2.5.7, users can submit articles, they have the permission to publish the article them selves. The back end the articles are published but in the front end the articles say unpublished and are only viewable under the authors name not in the category published.... Any ideas?

Hi. A K2 item cannot be published in the backend and unpublished in the front-end. Check again the K2 user group permissions.
