Can't upload PNG

Can't upload PNG was created by marco deluca
Hi, just updated to k2 2.5.1 and I can no longer upload PNG files. No error messages, just images do not show up. Happens with frontend and backend editing. All other file types can be uploaded and displayed fine.

Solutions?

lowercased file extension?

example.PNG - wrong
example.png - right
