Hi,

I'm a newb but whenever I try and save and then close an item in the modal box in the front-end it won't get rid of the modal box and then the entire website page is shown in the modal box.

If I save and then hit the 'X' on the modal box it goes away but the close button just goes strange.

Is this my setup or has anyone else seen this behaviour.

I to have this same problem. Not sure if its a k2 bug or an extension conflict.

Has anyone found a solution for this problem? I've seen a solution for earlier Joomla versions but not 2.5.4. I have Joomla 2.5.4 and K2 version 2.5.7.

Do any of you guys have firebug installed for firefox? Sounds to me like its a JS error. Ive been having a few myself recently with the content input stuff.

If you have Firebug (or just the developer tools in chrome) you can see the error from the console section. If you paste that up here then someone could give you more help.

widgetkit from yootheme load jquery and cause the bug

everithing seem ok now if desactivate widgetkit

so check js load
