I came here to seek some help in developing a small coupon plugin needed for my city portal.

Here is what i need and maybe you have some ideea. A plugin for k2 which will generate a random string or pseudo random, i dont care, 10 characters long, for 24 hours. After 24 hours, starts midnight, the script will generate another string. This string i want to be different for other k2 items. I mean different strings for any k2 items. And this plugin to be controlled through back end panel (edit k2 item) with a check box, if is checked the unique string for that specific k2 item will show, in front end, if unchecked then is obviously no string will appear.

I have some other features to implement, but this is mainly where i got stuck. Hope i was explicit enough. If not i will rexplain. Also i have some beginner php knowledge.
